Homemade Ice Cream

Nothing says summer like a batch of fresh, homemade ice cream.

  • 6 eggs
  • 3 ¾ cups sugar
  • 6 cups cream (half and half)
  • ¾ tsp salt
  • 6 tsp vanilla
  • Milk - enough to fill freezer

Directions
  1. Beat the eggs and gradually add sugar.  
  2. Beat until mixture is very stiff.  
  3. Add remaining ingredients and mix thoroughly.  
  4. Place in ice cream freezer and make according to freezer directions.
