Get ready to embark on an exciting adventure with the Choose Iowa Passport! The Choose Iowa Passport, is a a free, interactive digital platform designed to help Iowans and visitors find farms and farm stands, orchards, you-pick opportunities, farm-to-table dining and restaurants, farmers markets, and even boutique shops featuring locally-sourced Iowa products including Iowa raised meats. This innovative marketing initiative, a collaboration between Choose Iowa and Travel Iowa, promotes unique agritourism experiences and encourages visitors to enjoy Iowa grown, raised and made food, beverages and agricultural products.
Users of the Choose Iowa Passport can check in at participating locations via their smartphones to earn points, which can be redeemed for prizes. Sign up for the passport below to get started on your journey.
The 2025 Choose Iowa Passport will close the end of April 2026 and the 2026 Choose Iowa Passport will launch in May. Current passholders will be notified when the 2026 passport is available for sign-up. Passholders will need to sign up for the new passport to earn points for visits in 2026 and will be able to redeem for all new prizes this year too. New prize details are coming soon.

How it Works
Step 1 - Get Your Pass
This mobile exclusive passport is a collection of curated attractions, retailers, restaurants and more, offering deals and discounts to redeem during your visit.
Step 2 - Receive Text
Your passport will be instantly delivered to your phone via text and email and is ready to use immediately! There is no app to download. Your pass can be saved to your phone’s home screen for easy one-tap access.
Step 3 - Redeem
When visiting a participating business, simply present your phone to the attendant or staff member to redeem available discounts.
How to Play:
Collect points by checking in at participating Choose Iowa locations across the state through May 1, 2026. Each location offers a unique point value, so there’s always something to look forward to at every stop!
Redeem your points for prizes along the way. There are a limited number of each prize available so starting collecting points today. When you cash in, your points reset to zero — but you can keep checking in to earn more:
- 500 points: Choose Iowa sticker!
- 1,000 points: Choose Iowa hat!
- 2,000 points: Choose Iowa cutting board made with all Iowa wood!
- 3,000 points: Choose Iowa gift box filled with all Iowa products!
