Iowa Healthiest State Initiative

Iowa Healthiest State Initiative is a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization driven by the goal to ensure every Iowan can live their healthiest life. Through Double Up Food Bucks and the Iowa Produce Prescription Program, we work to increase access to healthy, locally grown fruits and vegetables while supporting Iowa farmers and food systems. By connecting healthcare providers, food retailers, producers, and community organizations, we help create opportunities for local foods to reach more Iowa families and improve health outcomes across the state.
