OUR FOUNDERS, Korrin and Sean:
Korrin is a high school science teacher who is passionate about sustainability education, particularly in our food system. She has taught for over 15 years and focuses on work-based, hands-on learning. Sean has a variety of management, construction, and sustainability experience that is exceptionally valuable to the development of the farm (he is the driving force behind the BIG vision). Together, their skills are helping to grow an urban farm in the North End of Dubuque that is focused on educating students about our food system and careers in agriculture, along with providing local produce to the community.
